IT Spending to Increase in 2010?

The economic turnaround may be in sight for the IT industry, as research from TheInfoPro has shown that while 2010 might not be a banner year, it will most likely bring more growth than 2009. It’s projected that companies will spend more on infrastructure and optimization as they continue to transition into the cloud, aim for unified communications and deploy collaboration solutions like video conferencing. And while most of these optimization efforts and infrastructure upgrades seem to be more long-term, strategic decisions, the IT decision makers surveyed said they will be looking for a quick ROI on their spending in 2010.
